Storm Chaser Missions

Storm Chaser Vision

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1

Storm Chaser Foundation’s vision is to share GOOD NEWS, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with lost and hopeless people. The message of the Gospel is this: God is willing and able to forgive every sin and heal every hurt; to bring peace to minds tormented by spiritual storms; and to restore hope and joy through the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” Mark 4:39. Jesus still calms spiritual storms and heals all who come to him by faith. The world must have the opportunity to hear this message.

Storm Chaser’s Story

Dr. Terry Law’s ministry as an evangelist and humanitarian for Christ spanned some fifty-four years, taking him into more than 100 nations, from the plains of western Canada to the deserts of Iraq, with special emphasis on closed nations. Terry devoted himself to both evangelistic preaching and extensive humanitarian efforts, whether personally smuggling bags of rice across the frozen Tumen River into North Korea, delivering food, medicine, and clothing to refugees from al-Qaeda and ISIS, or preaching to audiences as large as a quarter million people in Poland.

Terry Law spent a lifetime facing “storms” of the most dangerous kind. He risked his life for the sake of others, and by doing so, the power of God in the midst of these many storms, changed countless lives all around the world.

Although Terry has recently joined that great cloud of witnesses in heaven, his life and legacy live on through his many books, sermons and Storm Chaser Foundation (SCF). Terry’s son, Scot, has picked up his torch and through SCF has dedicated himself to fulfilling the remaining missions Terry began in the later years of his life.

Storm Chaser Missions

It takes but one person to create a cycle of trauma and abuse for generations to follow.

Approximately 30% people on the earth don’t have simple access to a safe water source.

697 million people, approximately 9% of the world population, are severely food insecure.

1.9 billion people still need to hear the Gospel for the first time. Many millions more need to find a church family.

“You always find God in the center of every storm.” – Terry Law

Spiritual storms are raging around the globe as each passing day brings the earth one step closer to Jesus’ return. Satan knows his time is short, and he is doing his upmost to steal, kill and destroy as many people as possible before the end.

Disciples of Jesus Christ are called to go into the world and preach the Good News. God has a plan to reach the entire world with the message of salvation, and he has a place for everyone in this plan.

It’s time for young people to sacrifice, roll up their sleeves, overcome their fears and to be storm chasers to the glory of God. It’s time to move into the eyes of the storms we see on earth, where the power of God will change lives for eternity.

Why Give?

Storm Chaser Foundation is a 501C3 not-for-profit global mission organization. Our calling is to courageously go into the world and declare the Good News of Jesus Christ among people facing catastrophic storms of all kinds. Examples of global storms include: Covid-19 lockdowns, mass unemployment and increased food insecurity among people on the verge of starvation; invasion, terror and enslavement by radical extremists; devastating hurricanes, floods, tornadoes or famines; and many more.

God sees every personal, community and global storm, and responds with healing and hope expressed through us, His stormchasers. We believe Jesus will return when His Gospel has been preached among all language groups on earth. Until that day, we will see an ever-increasing number of global storms intended to steal, kill and destroy mankind. Stormchasers have God-given courage to face terrifying storms in the name of Jesus, and to facilitate the power of God in reaching people as we await his return.
